Passenger Regulations for the Vessel Viper

§ 1

In this document, the term “vessel” refers to the ship operated by the owner.

Every passenger is required to familiarize themselves with these regulations.
During cruises, at marinas, and at mooring points visited by the vessel, all passengers must follow the rules outlined in these regulations and comply with instructions given by the Captain or the crew.


§ 3

  1. The Captain has the right to refuse boarding or remove from the vessel any passengers who:

    • Disturb public order

    • Violate these regulations

    • Show signs of alcohol or drug use

    • Are otherwise disruptive or pose a risk to other passengers, crew, or the owner’s property

  2. Open flames and smoking are strictly prohibited on board.

  3. Passengers are required to follow safety rules and comply with crew instructions in this regard.
    This includes refraining from actions that endanger water traffic, other passengers, or are prohibited in public spaces.

  4. It is forbidden to bring items on board that may pose a danger to others or damage or soil the vessel (e.g., knives, machetes, axes, open containers of paint, grease, etc.).

  5. Individuals whose behavior is deemed threatening, aggressive, or disruptive by the crew may be denied boarding or asked to leave the vessel without a ticket refund.

  6. The owner and the Captain are not liable for bodily injury, death, or property damage or loss caused by:
    a. Unauthorized actions of third parties, especially other passengers
    b. Random events
    c. Falling overboard

  7. Each adult passenger or the legal guardian of a minor is financially responsible for any damage caused to the owner’s property.

  8. Children and minors must be under the supervision of their accompanying guardians at all times.
    Special attention must be given when boarding and disembarking.

  9. The owner and crew are not responsible for items brought on board that are lost or damaged (e.g., fall into the water).


§ 4

  1. Animals are not allowed on board. Exceptions may be made at the discretion of the Captain or owner with one-time permission.

  2. Throwing trash or any other objects into the water is strictly prohibited.

  3. During port maneuvers, when passing under bridges, navigating through locks, or docking and undocking, extreme caution must be exercised, and all instructions from the Captain must be followed.
    Especially, it is forbidden to lean over or extend hands or feet beyond the safety rails, as this could cause serious accidents.

  4. The marine toilet on board is only suitable for small amounts of toilet paper.
    Disposing of any other items or excessive paper/towels may cause blockage or damage and may result in the passenger being held liable for repair costs.


§ 5

  1. The owner is not responsible for delays caused by poor hydrological or weather conditions or engine/system failures.

  2. If a cruise is canceled due to:
    a. Poor navigation or hydrological conditions
    b. Adverse weather
    c. Waterway closure by government authorities or water police
    The owner will provide an alternative cruise date or issue a refund of the deposit.

  3. In the event of any safety threat to passengers or crew, the Captain is obligated to immediately interrupt the cruise and proceed to the nearest port or shoreline.
